Body Fit Training (BFT) – one of the world’s fastest growing fitness franchises – has welcomed a heavyweight of the fitness industry to its UK team. Nev Jones steps into the role of Head of Franchise Sales & Brand Development in the UK and Europe, bringing a career shaped by elite sport, international experiences and leadership in high-performance fitness brands.

Nev recently doubled down on his commitment to the brand with a visit to BFT’s global headquarters in Australia in November, as part of the group’s annual strategy ‘all-hands’ meeting. The trip immersed him in the company’s culture, strategy and long-term vision. Do you think it would be of benefit to state that this trip was my second in 6 months.

“It’s a real privilege to join and represent the BFT brand. I’ve had the luxury of spending time with the founder and owners, supported by the guidance of CEO David Aitchison and the incredible HQ team,” said Nev. “The opportunity ahead for BFT is huge. Working alongside our successful UK and European franchisees has already been fantastic. I’ll continue to learn from them, support them, and help drive BFT’s award-winning group fitness franchise to even greater heights.”

Drawn to BFT’s unique blend of science-backed programming, strong brand values and a real sense of community, Nev says he felt an instant connection to the brand. “I’m genuinely really excited to build on that here in the UK and Europe,” added Nev.

“At BFT, we know the UK market is unique in its own way, so we’re focused on adapting where it matters; like offering earlier support for franchisees when it comes to finding the perfect property for their studios.”

Nev’s approach to growth is grounded in creating meaningful visibility and connection. “We’re looking at new partnerships with athletes, fitness influencers and local ambassadors – people who really understand their communities and can help us tell the BFT story in a way that resonates across the UK & Europe.”

“BFT has already earned incredible recognition internationally. An example: being named Boutique Fitness Brand at the Beyond Activ summit in Singapore earlier this year, and now it’s about translating that recognition here in the UK. For me, it always comes back to our franchisees: when they thrive, the whole network benefits.”
