Fleet Feet, the nation’s largest franchisor of run specialty stores, today announced the opening of its newest Miami-area store in North Miami Beach. Located at 1666 NE Miami Gardens Drive in the SkyLake shopping center, the new location marks the second Fleet Feet franchise opening in Miami overseen by Pablo and Susan Martinez.
The Martinezes opened their first Miami Fleet Feet franchise in December 2024, and within six months, hosted more than 10 local events as part of a strong focus on customer service and collaboration with like-minded brands. Their success has accelerated the brand’s expansion in the region by quickly raising their profile in the community.
About Pablo and Susan Martinez
Pablo is originally from Guatemala, while Susan hails from South Africa. Each immigrated to the United States more than 25 years ago, and have called Miami home ever since.
Pablo’s journey with Fleet Feet began at The Running Event where he was first introduced to the brand. With eight years of personal triathlon experience, opening the Miami location in 2024 was a natural move forward for expanding his passion into the running industry. In addition to Fleet Feet, Pablo and his siblings are joint owners of fruit and flower farms in Guatemala with exports sold across the U.S.
Both Susan and Pablo’s son, Pablo Jr., are actively involved with the day-to-day operations of the franchise, reinforcing Fleet Feet’s small business approach to supporting and uplifting the neighborhoods they serve.

Miami customers can experience Fleet Feet’s signature fit id® process, which uses 3D foot scanning technology to capture precise foot measurements and provide customized recommendations.
