GiveWheel Launches Live Fundraising Initiative for Delegates at Second Annual Triathlon Industry Conference 2025 (TIC25)

Triathlon Industry Conference will be held December 8th, 2025
Loughborough, UK / Dec 4, 2025 / Triathlon Industry Alliance

Triathlon Industry Alliance (TIA) has revealed that GiveWheel, the ‘powered by’ partner for the Triathlon Industry Conference 2025 (TIC25), will deliver a unique donor-led fundraising initiative at the conference on Monday 8th December 2025 at Burleigh Court, Loughborough.

The official powered by partner for TIC25, GiveWheel will run an innovative initiative in which delegates are allocated £10 to direct to a charitable cause of their choice. Rather than asking attendees to give their own money, GiveWheel will be supporting the event by covering all donations, whilst putting the decision-making power directly into delegates hands.

The fundraise will run throughout the conference, with on-table assets guiding attendees through how to take part. Digital resources will outline how GiveWheel’s DonorLed tool works alongside the wider mission of the organisation.

“Triathlon is a sport built on purpose, commitment and community, which makes TIC25 the perfect environment to showcase DonorLed in action. DonorLed reflects a future where donors feel connected to the challenge, the community and the impact. By simply giving people the opportunity to choose, it shifts fundraising from a model driven by individuals to one powered by community momentum.” said Oliver Daniel, Founder of GiveWheel.

The initiative will form part of a wider programme of content, collaboration and community engagement across TIC25, reinforcing the Triathlon Industry Alliance’s focus on innovation, sustainability and positive social impact within the sport.

Iain Hamilton, Chair of the Triathlon Industry Alliance, added: “This feels like a great fit for TIC25. It’s a fresh, collaborative idea that adds real value to the event and helps the industry move forward in a practical, positive way – while also giving back.”

The Triathlon Industry Conference (TIC25) will take place at Burleigh Court, Loughborough (LE11 3TD) on Monday 8th December 2025, followed by an evening dinner and networking celebration.

The conference will deliver an engaging mix of presentations, panels, and workshops, creating a truly immersive and thought-provoking experience. This is designed to encourage collaboration and provide clear, actionable insights to help shape the future of the sport.

About GiveWheel
DonorLed from GiveWheel is a new fundraising model that shifts from individual-led to community-led giving. Fundraisers have three flexible options: Unlimited, Split, or Selective. In each case, supporters themselves become part of the story by choosing the charity their donation benefits.

DonorLed transforms fundraising from an individual-led effort into a community-led movement. Instead of ‘one individual, one cause’, DonorLed embraces ‘one community, every cause’, empowering fundraisers to champion not only their own favourite charities but also those closest to their supporters, making giving more personal, inclusive, and engaging.

DonorLed taps into the powerful motivations of choice and personal connection. People are more likely to give – and give more – when it’s a cause they care about. DonorLed makes that possible for everyone and empowers supporters to choose exactly where their contribution goes, driving engagement.

Three Flexible Options

  • Unlimited: Supporters have the choice of any charity
  • Split: Split donations between fundraiser chosen charities and a supporter’s choice
  • Selective: Supporters can choose from a shortlist of charities chosen by the fundraiser
