SENIQ is an outdoor apparel brand with the mission of igniting a community of active, confident women that do not want to compromise fashion over function. SENIQ’s innovative performance wear excels at being both technical and trend driven. The brand integrates form and functional features across all of their garments to support women for their entire lifestyle— from street to trail.

SENIQ is founded by Madison Poitinger and Valentina Lorek. The two met in high school and reconnected years later when they were both working at Victoria’s Secret. The two bring over 10 years of experience in the retail space, specifically in the outdoor apparel industry, having worked across brands including Outdoor Voices and Backcountry. Noticing a need for a product that speaks directly to the female customer, the two combined forces to create SENIQ – a brand designed for women by women with the mission of helping their consumers unlock their optimal wellness potential.

“The outdoor industry has typically been male-dominated. It is an unspoken rule that femininity in the outdoors is frowned upon. That means no obvious makeup, no feminine styling, no care for trends – the grungier the better or else you won’t be taken seriously. Through SENIQ we are aiming to change these perceptions and give women apparel that showcases not only their athleticism but also their personalities through bolder styling choices,”  says Poitinger.

Through their name, SENIQ aims to embody the spirit of taking the scenic route and savoring the journey. They believe in the power of the present. It welcomes curiosity and humility as guiding forces for a richer, more fulfilling experience.

While workouts such as yoga and pilates have been able to make the transition from being more than just a workout brand, the outdoor industry has been slower to expand. My hiking clothes were ONLY for hiking. I consistently found myself finishing my outdoor activities and wanting to go straight to brunch, or to walk around the local farmers market. This inspired the idea of SENIQ’s street to trail versatility, where you aren’t ashamed to wear your hiking clothes in public and even better, you feel confident in your hiking clothes in an urban setting,” adds Lorek.

SENIQ’s launch collection is the “Trail System” – designed to redefine the art of hiking in style. The collection highlights the best of utility and design to ensure an unrivaled fusion of style and performance for outdoor enthusiasts. The collection features the Trailmix Pant, Trailmix Shorts, Dirtpop Jacket, Oasis Tank, Field Crop Shirt, Detour Sweatshirt, and Trailmix Sun Hat in a variety of colors including Hazelnut, Dew, Euphoria, Aspen, Hot Springs, After Glow, and Black.

Mental and physical health are inextricably linked, and discovering your equilibrium requires a holistic approach (with a little fresh air). That’s why SENIQ is dedicated to helping individuals on their wellness journey, to serve as a foundation for overall well-being. They are especially passionate about advocating for communities with limited access to resources.  By partnering with leading foundations in the mental health field, they are taking meaningful steps to empower individuals and promote a mindful, more balanced community.

SENIQ will be donating 1% of sales to various foundations that provide mental wellness resources to underserved communities. For their inaugural launch, they will be focusing on Women’s Wilderness and The Mental Health Coalition. Consumers can choose which foundation they prefer the proceeds from their sale go to at check out. They will also be given the opportunity to add a donation to their total purchase if they wish to do so.
