Wellness Holding, the investment company of the Alessandri family—founders of Technogym and focused on innovative projects that enhance quality of life—is investing in Acqua Filette, a historic high-end Italian brand in the mineral water industry. Founded and led by the Ricci family, Acqua Filette is recognized as one of the purest waters in the world and a symbol of sustainable luxury.

With a uniquely rare mineral composition—free of arsenic, very low in nitrates, low in sodium, and featuring a balanced presence of mineral salts—Filette stands out as a natural Italian excellence. It is chosen by the world’s most prestigious Michelin-starred restaurants, the finest hotels, and discerning consumers who value quality. Filette is notable for its design and exclusive use of glass and aluminum bottles, being completely plastic-free. More than just water, it is an experience of elegance and quality, born from an “obsession with excellence” embodied in its slogan: “True luxury is allowing yourself quality. Always.”

The partnership with Wellness Holding marks a new milestone in Filette’s strategic development, focusing on three key assets: the purity of its source, brand positioning, and international expansion into the world’s most exclusive locations. The collaboration will leverage Wellness Holding’s global expertise and network in hospitality and healthy longevity.

Pietro Ricci of Acqua Filette stated: “Acqua Filette is a prime water brand born in 1894, unique in the world for its history, composition, and identity. Filette is a family company that has, for generations, enhanced a natural heritage unlike any other. Entering this new phase with the Alessandri family means embracing a long-term project founded on shared values: meticulous attention to detail, a passion for excellence, and a commitment to bringing Filette to the most iconic places where quality and wellness meet.”

Nerio Alessandri, President of Wellness Holding, commented: “Water is a fundamental element of life and, consequently, a true source of health—the new luxury. Filette, a brand that combines ethics, quality, and premium positioning, perfectly aligns with our long-term mission to improve people’s quality of life through prevention and healthy longevity. We believe in the Ricci family’s experience and Filette’s management, and together we will join forces to develop the brand worldwide.”

About Filette

Among the purest oligomineral waters in the world, Filette stands out for its unique organoleptic properties—an expression of an uncontaminated environment and a philosophy that celebrates quality in every aspect. There is a substantial absence of nitrates; nitrates indicate the level of groundwater pollution, and in Filette they are practically absent, measuring only 0.2 mg/L. There is also a total absence of arsenic. Arsenic is a Group 1 carcinogenic element and is found in most waters and foods. Filette is one of the few waters completely free of this element. With a fixed residue of 224 mg/L, Filette falls within the optimal range indicated by the National Order of Biologists, offering the perfect balance between nutrients and hydrating capacity. This is further supported by a low sodium content of just 2.9 mg/L, ideal for controlled diets, and an alkaline pH of 7.83, which naturally contributes to maintaining the body’s acid-alkaline balance. Additionally, Filette features very small clusters—the groupings of molecules that make up water—granting it greater ability to permeate and purify tissues, allowing for the balanced remineralization of the body. The organoleptic characteristics that nature has bestowed upon the Filette spring are the foundation of the entire bottling and packaging project, which uses premium materials and stylistic choices inspired by the world of fine wine.
