Co-founded by Jesse Itzler and Devon Lévesque, Runningman debuted in 2023 with a mission to inspire personal breakthroughs and foster genuine connection, transforming traditional endurance events into vibrant, inclusive celebrations. On Saturday, Race Day, the signature one-mile loop track is unlike traditional races with fixed start and finish lines, Runningman allows beginner and expert runners alike to interact with friends and fellow participants regardless of their pace or distance. This choose-your-own-distance format is unique to the endurance space and designed to encourage personal breakthroughs. In 2024, over 1,000 participants ran a total of 11,335 miles, with 85% of runners exceeding their distance targets.

The infield at the heart of the track features an immersive expo with leading wellness, fitness, and lifestyle brands alongside influential thought leaders. As Runningman’s third year approaches, festival organizers have unveiled a suite of new programming offerings across movement, mindset, recovery, music, and more. These immersive activations set Runningman apart from other fitness-focused events in the industry. In lieu of heavy running competition and race-only elements, every part of the weekend is designed to spark conversation and interaction with other participants and wellness leaders – from goat yoga to a pickle-eating contest and guided saunas. The result is a one-of-a-kind movement experience that creates lasting memories and keeps guests coming back year after year from over 40 states and 14 countries to date.
