STRONG Pilates Debuts in California with First Studio Opening in West Hollywood

STRONG Pilates, the global fitness franchise that fuses Pilates-inspired resistance training with cardio and strength conditioning through its proprietary Rowformer and Bikeformer machines, officially opened its first California studio in West Hollywood on Saturday, February 7. The debut marks a major milestone in the brand’s U.S. expansion and signals continued momentum globally.

Co-founded by Michael Ramsey and Mark Armstrong, STRONG Pilates challenges traditional Pilates through its proprietary Rowformer and Bikeformer machines, reformer beds seamlessly integrated with either a rower or stationary bike – creating a dynamic, full-body workout designed to build strength, endurance and long-term performance. Each 45 minute class pairs low-impact movement with high-intensity intervals, delivering an efficient training method suited for all fitness levels.

The West Hollywood studio is operated by Momentic Studios, a multi-unit franchisee driving STRONG’s growth across the United States. Momentic Studios has committed to launching 96 additional locations in major cities including Los Angeles County, Houston, Dallas, New York City, Boston, Chicago, Nashville, and Minneapolis, underscoring the accelerating demand for innovative, results-driven fitness experiences.

The grand opening event took place on Saturday, February 7th at 7617 Santa Monica Blvd, West Hollywood, CA 90046.

Founded in Australia in 2019, STRONG Pilates has expanded to 110+ studios across 14 countries in just six years.
