Relationship Wellness Startup OURS Courts $5M

Its Serena Williams-backed couples counseling platform is fighting stigma.
OURS

Looking to reimagine relationship health, OURS launched out of beta, locking down $5M in seed funding from TMV, Serena Ventures, and angel investor Andy Dunn.

OURS of Therapy

Urging couples to invest in their relationship, OURS offers “modern premarital counseling,” a new-age approach meant to battle stigma and increase access to therapists.

The four-week program includes live, virtual sessions with a trained Guide along with offline content sessions to spur conversations between partners.

Two to tango. Modern-day self-care now extends to couples care. Crucial to mental health, studies show that our relationships play a major role in our overall well-being. But today’s $5.5B mental health industry remains largely targeted toward the solo help seeker.

Lending an ear, relationship startups are here to help couples keep the spark:

  • Lovewick, a question and date idea app, raised a $1M pre-seed this January.
  • Paired, an evidence-based app that offers daily prompts, relationship satisfaction tracking, and quizzes, secured a $3.6M seed last year.
  • Following a $2M raise, Lover just became the first sex therapy app to get FDA approval, helping users improve their bedroom health.

Takeaway: Wellness is getting increasingly holistic. Whether anxiety, love, or anything else, digital tools are sprouting up for every emotion of our lives.
