This new smart solution turns any stack weight machine into a connected training experience. With seamless integration into the Virtuagym platform, Virtuagym Connect makes strength training measurable and engaging by automatically tracking reps, sets, and weights — while offering guided support and gamification to help members train more effectively.

Virtuagym Connect marks the next milestone in Virtuagym’s innovation journey, following the successful launches of MAX AI and FITZONE as part of the company’s broader vision to build the Open Fitness Operating System.

Smart Strength Training for Every Member and Trainers

With Virtuagym Connect, every workout becomes more engaging. Real-time feedback, using a retrofit sensor solution that is attached on the strength equipment, transforms progress into motivation, turning strength training into a rewarding experience. For beginners, this guidance removes the intimidation of starting out, building confidence and consistency. For experienced members, it keeps training fresh, measurable, and fun — creating lasting motivation across all levels.

For clubs and trainers, Virtuagym Connect makes smart strength more accessible to all clubs by working with existing equipment, eliminating the need for costly smart machines. This makes advanced connected training accessible to facilities of all sizes. At the same time, it reduces manual tracking for trainers and provides data that can be used to enhance personalized support — making it easier to deliver consistent, scalable services.

As part of Virtuagym’s broader ecosystem, Virtuagym Connect works seamlessly together with Virtuagym MAX AI Coach, so members can get personalized plans in seconds. Calories burned during training are automatically taken into account for Virtuagym’s integrated nutrition coaching app and soon members will also earn Fitpoints, so they can compete in leaderboards by training with Connect. Virtuagym’s Touch kiosk lets members measure their body composition, so the muscle development as a result of strength training is measured and visualized over time, for additional motivation.

The first clubs in Benelux and Germany are launching Virtuagym Connect this October, a broader European and international release is expected early 2026.
