Kommunity Fitness, a premium fitness brand redefining the intersection of performance, design, and community, today announced the appointment of Mike Gray as President and Chief Operating Officer. Gray will lead the brand’s launch into the United States and oversee the development of a best-in-class franchise platform as Kommunity begins franchising nationwide.
Known for its immersive programming, architecturally refined studios, and community-first philosophy, Kommunity Fitness has built a differentiated brand designed for today’s experience-driven consumer. As demand accelerates for premium, community-oriented fitness concepts, Kommunity is entering the U.S. market with intention—pairing a compelling brand with disciplined operational leadership.
Gray brings nearly three decades of experience scaling premium fitness brands, with particular strength in early-stage franchising, franchisee support, and international expansion. He previously served as President of Club Pilates, where he led franchise operations during a critical growth phase. When Gray joined the brand, Club Pilates had approximately 126 locations. During his tenure, he helped establish the operational systems, franchise support infrastructure, and scalable playbooks that supported growth to over 1,000 locations worldwide.
Most recently, Gray served as President and COO of Riser Fitness, one of the largest franchise operators in boutique fitness. In that role, he oversaw multi-market expansion across the United States and supported international growth initiatives in Mexico and Australia, further deepening his experience in scaling brands across borders while maintaining operational consistency and brand standards.
