hDrop has announced an upcoming integration with Wahoo ELEMNT GPS cycling computers, following Wahoo’s latest ELEMNT firmware update introducing support for next-generation performance sensors. When released, the integration will allow cyclists to display live hDrop sweat and hydration metrics directly on their Wahoo head unit.

The feature is expected to become available through a Wahoo firmware update in the coming weeks. It will be offered at no additional cost to current and future users of compatible Wahoo ELEMNT V3 devices, including the ELEMNT BOLT 3, ELEMNT ROAM 3, and ELEMNT ACE.

Through Bluetooth connectivity, hDrop will transmit real-time hydration data to the ELEMNT platform, allowing riders to view sweat and electrolyte insights alongside existing ride metrics such as power, heart rate, cadence, and speed. The hDrop sensor can be worn either on the upper arm using a bicep strap or attached to a standard heart rate chest strap, giving athletes flexibility in how they integrate hydration monitoring into their setup.

Previously, Wahoo and hDrop users primarily accessed sweat and hydration information through the hDrop App during and after activity. With this integration, those insights will be available directly on the bike computer during the ride, helping athletes make timely decisions about fluid and sodium intake before dehydration or electrolyte losses begin to impact performance.

The partnership represents an important step for real-time hydration monitoring in endurance sports. By bringing live sweat and hydration data directly to Wahoo cycling computers, hDrop is helping athletes move beyond fixed hydration plans and toward more personalized, data-driven fueling and fluid strategies.

Combining hDrop’s sweat rate and sodium loss analysis with the Wahoo ELEMNT platform gives riders access to hydration information in the same place they already track performance. This makes hydration easier to monitor, easier to act on, and more closely connected to the real demands of each workout or race.

“With this integration, Wahoo users will be able to view hDrop data in real time during their activities, directly on their ELEMNT cycling computer,” said Adria Abella, Co-Founder of hDrop. “We have worked closely with the Wahoo team to make this possible, and we are excited to bring accurate, real-time sweat and hydration analytics to more athletes in a way that fits naturally into how they already train and race. We are very excited to bring a new data layer to Wahoo users.”

No new head unit will be required for users who already own a compatible ELEMNT V3 device. The update will be delivered automatically once the firmware becomes available.
