Ultrahuman, the health intelligence company building a new interface between humans and technology, today announced a $70 million financing round with participation from Qualcomm Ventures, Labcorp, Alpha Wave, Blume, Nexus, Alteria and other investors.
The financing marks the next chapter in Ultrahuman’s evolution from a wearable health company into a human-computer interface company built around the body.
Ultrahuman believes the most important computing platform of the next decade will not sit on a desk, in a pocket or on a face. It will understand the human body continuously – sleep, cardiovascular health, metabolism, hormonal rhythms, blood biomarkers, recovery and the environment around it – and turn those signals into intelligence that meaningfully improves a person’s life.
At the centre of that platform is the Ultrahuman Ring, supported by Blood Vision, continuous glucose monitoring, environmental sensing and an expanding software, AI and research layer. Together these systems are designed to build a longitudinal understanding of human physiology rather than treat health as a collection of isolated measurements.

Ultrahuman’s approach starts with a simple observation. The human body produces an extraordinary amount of information every second, and computing systems have historically understood very little of it.

The ambition is to move computing from systems that wait for human input to systems that understand the physiological state of the person using them.

Science as a product advantage
Ultrahuman has approached the smart ring category as a continuously evolving scientific and computational platform rather than a device defined by a fixed set of metrics.
- AFib Detection, a world first on a smart ring, extended the role of passive wearables into cardiovascular awareness.
- Cycle & Ovulation Pro, built on OvuSense technology acquired with viO HealthTech, delivers ovulation confirmation with 90%+ accuracy, moving reproductive health insight beyond calendar-based estimation.
- Cardiovascular fitness age, examined across 442 adults in peer-reviewed work published in Frontiers in Digital Health in July 2026, extends the company’s work from consumer metrics into validated models of cardiovascular health.
- Sleep and metabolism at scale, in research developed with collaborators including Stanford University analysing 227,860 nights of concurrent data from adults across 100 countries.
- Pulsomics, launched in 2026, an opt-in research platform embedded directly into the Ultrahuman experience.
Pulsomics lets Ring users take part in large-scale studies using real-world longitudinal data rather than small controlled laboratory cohorts. Its first programmes examine individual sleep need, VO₂ Max and glucose metabolism, with further studies planned across cardiovascular load and longitudinal sleep.
For Ultrahuman it creates a direct bridge between the physiological signals consumer wearables already generate and the science needed to make the algorithms interpreting those signals more accurate and more representative. Health models trained across different body types, populations, lifestyles and geographies can become substantially more personalised than models developed from traditional research cohorts alone.

Ultrahuman’s engineering philosophy is that a wearable should become substantially more capable after it has been bought.
- PowerPlugs allow specialised health capabilities to be built on top of the platform, across cardiovascular health, reproductive health, circadian alignment, respiratory health, shift work, pregnancy, metabolic health and migraine insights.
- UltraSignal opens wearable sensor streams to new algorithms and health experiences.
- Ring PRO moves more computation onto the wearable itself through a new sensing architecture, on-chip machine learning and expanded on-device storage.
Together these turn the ring from a fixed-purpose tracker into something closer to an extensible biological computer, whose capabilities keep expanding as better sensors, algorithms, research and AI arrive.
