Nosis today announced the national launch of its whole-body health model for substance use recovery, combining advanced diagnostics, personalized lifestyle interventions, and science-backed behavior change to address biological and metabolic health needs that have historically fallen outside the scope of substance use disorder treatment.
Individuals with substance use disorders carry a disproportionate burden of chronic disease and poor health, and many of those problems last well into recovery. Persistent fatigue, metabolic dysfunction, inflammation, hormonal imbalances, poor sleep, nutritional deficiencies, and other chronic health conditions undermine people’s overall health and well-being at exactly the time they are working to make enormous changes in their lives. These are not secondary concerns. They intensify cravings, heighten the desire for relief, and make recovery harder to sustain.
Substance use disorder treatment rightly prioritizes helping people stabilize, stop or reduce substance use, prevent overdose, and address their psychological and behavioral health needs. Nosis complements that work with a systematic approach to rebuilding health, designed to work alongside treatment, primary care, therapy, medications, and recovery communities.
“I know what it’s like to do the hard work of recovery while feeling like your body is working against you,” said Duffy Fallon, Founder and CEO of Nosis. “Recovery is about building a life you don’t want to escape, and feeling healthy and well is a huge part of that. Today people are left to figure out how to rebuild their health on their own. We built Nosis to change that.”
Following a year-long pilot and participation in the 2026 One Mind Accelerator, Nosis is introducing two core offerings nationwide:
- Nosis Blueprint — A comprehensive health assessment combining more than 85 biomarkers with health history, symptoms, lifestyle, and recovery context. Members receive a personalized report and one-on-one review with the Nosis team, translating insights into a clear picture of what’s happening in their body and what to prioritize next.
- Nosis Core — The company’s flagship whole-body recovery program. Core begins with Nosis Blueprint and translates those findings into a structured 12-week program across nutrition, movement, sleep, stress, supplementation, metabolic health, and behavior change. Members work one-on-one with a dedicated health coach and registered dietitian and connect with others in the community through group sessions. Repeat bloodwork is used to track progress over time. Ongoing monthly support is available following the initial program.
The model is designed to support the full arc of recovery, from people beginning to question their relationship with substances, through treatment and early recovery, to those years into recovery who have stopped using but still do not feel fully well.
Nosis delivers care virtually through a digital platform built specifically for its whole-body recovery model. The experience is designed to fit into everyday life, with one-on-one visits scheduled around members’ availability and group sessions offered multiple times each week.
Nosis was built by doctors, therapists, registered dietitians, health coaches, researchers, and engineers who share the conviction that recovery care has been incomplete for too long. Many drew on their own recovery to create the care they wished they’d had. Every Nosis health coach shares that lived experience, giving members professional guidance from someone who understands the recovery process firsthand.
In the coming months, Nosis plans to introduce a tightly scoped medical offering designed to complement its broader whole-body health model. The offering will include a limited set of medications, including GLP-1 therapies, where there is a clear role in supporting metabolic health and recovery. Medication will serve as one tool within the model rather than the center of it.
“Recovery is about much more than the absence of substance use,” said Patrick J. Kennedy, Founder of The Kennedy Forum, Co-Founder of One Mind, and a member of the Nosis Advisory Board. “It is about helping people improve their health, regain their ability to function, reconnect with their lives, and reach their potential. Nosis is bringing needed attention to physical health as an important and often overlooked part of that process.”
