Massiv is an independent strength-training tracker built for lifters who want to record complete sessions on a watch, rather than use a watch as a remote control for a phone.
Massiv supports standalone workout logging on both Apple Watch and Wear OS. During training, a lifter can record sets from the wrist, adjust weight and repetitions, review previous-set context, use rest timers, and calculate plates without taking out a phone. The watch interfaces focus on the repeated tasks of a strength session: moving from one set to the next, recording what happened, and keeping useful training context visible. Set logging happens on the watch itself, so the wearable can be used while the phone stays put away.
The watch apps complement Massiv’s iPhone and Android apps. A lifter can manage training on a phone and use the watch to log work in the gym. That gives people a choice about where they plan and where they record each set. The watch experience is designed for the flow of a workout: check what was done previously, enter the current set, start a rest timer, and move on when ready. Plate calculations are available on the watch, helping a lifter work out how to load the bar without reaching for a separate calculator.
Massiv also includes 17 structured strength-training programs. Each program follows its own progression rules, and the app presents the recommendation in the context of the plan. A lifter can see how the next target relates to the prescribed progression, rather than receiving an unexplained suggestion. Users can inspect those rules and override a recommendation when their training calls for a change. The programs provide structure while leaving the lifter in control of the workout and the final decision about what to lift.
The product is local-first: an account is not required to start or save workout logs. This lets a lifter begin recording training without first creating a profile or setting up an online service. Massiv’s exercise logging, program structure, and progression experience are available in English and Spanish. Spanish-speaking lifters can use the training experience in Spanish, while English remains available for those who prefer it.
Massiv brings phone-based training and standalone wearable logging into one strength-training tracker. Its focus is on helping independent lifters follow a program, record full sessions on the device that is convenient in the gym, and understand the progression behind their plan.
