General Medicine is building healthcare’s new front door.

What’s happening: PillPack co-founder TJ Parker’s General Medicine raised $120M to build healthcare’s consumer layer.

Buy now. Approaching care like ecommerce, General Medicine is creating a one-stop shop for meds, labs, telehealth, specialists, and more. Instead of navigating fragmented services, users can find, compare, and transact on a single platform.

Round two. After selling PillPack to Amazon for $1B, Parker helped build the tech giant’s pharmacy and primary care businesses. Back in the arena, he’s extending the same consumer-focused thesis across healthcare.

Free market. Healthcare is a $5T category with just 4% digital penetration vs. 16% for retail. As telehealth, DTC labs, and AI doctors fracture the traditional system, General Medicine is assembling the infrastructure for a shoppable future.

Looking ahead: Still loading, as healthcare comes online, patients are becoming buyers, reshaping market dynamics — and hopefully outcomes.
