Google, WHOOP, and Hims are expanding their AI health offerings, pushing deeper into coaching, diagnostics, and care delivery.

  • Folding Fitbit into Google Health while launching a new screenless Fitbit Air, Google is combining wearables, medical records, and Gemini-powered coaching into a unified interface.
  • Launching in-app telehealth, WHOOP’s pairing bloodwork, medical history, and longitudinal biometrics with 1:1 consults, moving from health tracker to preventative platform.
  • Hims & Hers introduced Labs AI, transforming static results into conversational health guidance with an agent that interprets data trends and guides treatment pathways.

Ambient care. As screens disappear, the intelligence layer is the product — with passive monitoring, predictive insights, and contextual AI guidance accelerating the Personal Health OS.

Closed loop. From diagnostics and labs to coaching and telehealth, longitudinal inputs and insight are the new battleground. Disrupting traditional care, the new guard is building proactive ecosystems to keep users locked in.

Looking ahead: The wearable wars have shifted beyond devices, with hardware makers constructing always-on consumer health hubs.
