Hormona is helping women find balance.

What’s happening: The femtech startup raised €7.8M ($6.7M) in a seed round, reaching €10.2M in total funding as it enters diagnostics.

Cycle savvy. Used in over 190 countries, Hormona’s app helps women manage their hormone levels, track symptoms, and forecast their cycles for everyday wellness.

With its userbase growing 30% YoY, the company will tap its raise to launch at-home, AI-powered tests for monitoring estrogen, progesterone, and FSH (follicle-stimulating hormone) in real-time, as well as scaling own-brand supplements.

Power shift. Overlooked, 80% of women face hormone-related issues, yet only 2% of global medical research focuses on women’s health. Linking hormone fluctuations and daily health, women are pushing for accessible, data-driven solutions.

Real-time. With continuous monitoring on the horizon, digitally linked periodic testing offers a promising step toward optimization.

Prioritizing fertility like Hormona, Mira’s handheld device measures hormones related to ovulation with lab-grade precision, while Oova’s daily tests provide personalized insights on trends over time.

Punchline: Facing undiagnosed hormonal conditions, women want answers. Providing more accessible means of tracking, Hormona and others are closing the gender data gap and establishing a new normal.
