Padel Haus is taking big swings.

What’s happening: The NYC-born padel club operator secured a $7M Series B round from David Blitzer’s Bolt Ventures, Epic Padel, and others. Landing $18M to date, Padel Haus plans to triple its US footprint.

Club/life. Hosting 20K players since inception, Padel Haus is profitable and moving fast, expecting 40 courts across six clubs in four markets by year’s end.

According to co-founder and CEO Santiago Gomez, it’s setting the standard for social sports by “refusing to cut corners.”

Sporting. Padel accelerated in ‘24, with nine new padel clubs opening per day across the world.

The US saw 350+ courts added, concentrated in Florida, Texas, and SoCal. Primed for growth, Playtomic forecasts the States to be the world leader in court space within the decade.

Trend-setters. Courting early adopters, many operators are packaging padel as a lifestyle.

Setting the tone with athletic wellness clubs, Padel X and Ultra Padel are expanding in Florida, while Mexican operator Conquer Padel is moving into Arizona and Utah.

Meanwhile, as Padel Haus sticks to its namesake, other operators see pickleball as a gateway to US fans, with 30% of padel facilities offering both. Scaling luxe racquet clubs starting in Philly and Boston, Ballers just raised $20M, a round also counting David Blitzer.

Punchline: As racket sports cement themselves in American culture, Padel Haus’s head start on the global game is paying off.
