24 Hour Fitness continues unprecedented investment in member experience with new equipment and remodeled facilities, setting a new standard for gyms across the US.
24 Hour Fitness, the 40-year leader in health and fitness, announces another stage of investment in refreshing its clubs and enhancing the member experience in prominent locations throughout the US. Building on an earlier round of remodels in the San Francisco Bay Area, 24 Hour Fitness will be focusing on their largest markets across the country; Northern California, Southern California and Texas. These clubs will see upgrades to state-of-the-art equipment, new flooring, lighting, and paint across all locations.
In addition to these refreshes, many other locations will be receiving investments in the form of new strength and cardio equipment. This most recent round of gym refreshes and equipment upgrades represents an acceleration in 24 Hour Fitness’ investment, all centered around their expansion strategy of delivering a high-quality experience at each club location.
“We work hard to listen to what our members need from their gym locations, and we know there is a desire for an upgraded gym experience,” said Karl Sanft, CEO at 24 Hour Fitness. “We have already made significant investments into some of our clubs this year and will continue to do so as part of our commitment to our members. If we can make our clubs the best they can be, we know we’re building a place where our members want to do the hard work that comes with reaching their fitness goals.”
Fully refreshed clubs are set to reopen now through September. Additional locations will be slated for improvements, likely into 2025. Over 15 percent of the company’s locations are being refreshed or receiving new equipment.
More refreshes will be announced throughout 2024 and 2025. Visit www.24hourfitness.com for updates.
