Arya, the AI-powered couples wellness platform, today announced it has acquired Flamme, the relationship app founded by An Nayal and trusted by more than 200,000 couples worldwide. The move brings together two of the category’s most engaged communities, and it marks a continuation of Arya’s mission to become the platform and operating system for modern relationships.
Founded in 2022, Arya is the leading couples platform, combining AI with human relationship experts to help couples improve communication, intimacy, and emotional connection through personalized guidance delivered directly where couples already communicate. Earlier this year, the company announced $21 million in growth financing after reaching eight figures in annual recurring revenue and serving tens of thousands of couples.
Flamme has grown organically into one of the most recognizable relationship apps, helping 200,000 couples connect through daily questions, games, challenges, AI coaching, and shared experiences. Its highly engaged community has demonstrated that couples increasingly want ongoing relationship support, not just intervention when problems become severe. Through the acquisition, Flamme users will be able to further elevate their relationship journey through Arya’s membership, which includes an intimacy concierge, expert-backed guidance, curated products, and relationship experiences designed to reduce the mental load of planning connection.
For a decade, dating apps have built a multibillion-dollar industry around helping people find a partner. Almost nothing has been built for what comes after. Together, Arya and Flamme are closing that gap, providing a centralized platform that serves as the Relationship OS for staying close and navigating relationships through postpartum, parenting toddlers, menopause, and beyond.
We’re seeing the same pattern across consumer wellness,” said Offer Yehudai, Co-Founder and CEO of Arya. “There are incredible products with highly engaged communities, but many are solving just one chapter of a person’s life. The woman using a fertility app today may be navigating postpartum next year, perimenopause a decade later, and relationship challenges throughout all of it. These experiences aren’t isolated. They all influence connection, intimacy, and the health of a relationship.”
Rather than building another standalone app, Arya is creating the platform that connects these experiences through AI, expert guidance, membership, and commerce. The experience is explicitly human-first: getting couples off their phones and closer to each other while AI works in the background to personalize recommendations, suggest products, and surface the content each partner is most likely to engage with.
“Dating apps monetize finding a partner. Arya is building for everything that happens afterward.” said An Nayal, Founder & CEO of Flamme. “Couples are waking up to the fact that connection doesn’t sustain itself. It needs investment, intention, and the right tools. Joining Arya means we can reach millions more couples and give them an experience that goes so much deeper than either of us could offer alone.”
The acquisition reflects a broader shift in how investors view the space and potential roll ups that yield stronger unit economics and more efficient user growth. Arya expects the Flamme acquisition to be the first of several strategic partnerships and acquisitions as it builds the leading consumer platform at the intersection of relationships, intimacy, and women’s life-stage wellness.
Arya is an AI-powered intimacy concierge for couples. Through a membership that combines monthly curated products, guided intimate experiences, expert-backed education, and an AI concierge, Arya helps couples explore, communicate, and stay connected both in and out of the bedroom. Arya is queer-inclusive and designed for all couples, wherever they are in their relationship. Learn more at arya.fyi.
