Founded by husband-and-wife team Dan Ilani and Megan Baldwin, ATEAM was built on the belief that relationships are an extension of how we take care of ourselves.

REINVENTING HOW PEOPLE MEET
To bring people together in the real world, ATEAM is launching an ongoing Date Night Series in partnership with more than 15 leading fitness and wellness studios across New York, including AARMY, Brooklyn Track Club, Fuze House, Gotham Boxing, SoulCycle, The Yard, and more. Most dates revolve around drinks. ATEAM starts with movement – a workout, a run, a shared session – creating space for energy to replace small talk.
Daily usage is capped at 11 minutes, and members can’t continue meeting new people without first closing the loop on existing conversations. Every design decision ladders up to ATEAM’s commitment to bringing together individuals off the app and into the real world.
“If your relationships are broken, no amount of optimization will fix it,” Ilani said. “There is no supplement for a good relationship. In the next few years, people will understand that you cannot be healthy without them.”
Early traction has also shown strong engagement from men who are intentional about dating and actively seeking long term relationships, a dynamic often missing from existing platforms. ATEAM measures success by one thing: the number of high-quality relationships it puts into the world.
