Athleex Launches Coaching Platform That Flags Which Clients Are About to Quit

Athleex today launched its coaching platform for personal trainers and online coaches, pairing day-to-day programming tools with business analytics aimed at a problem the category has largely left alone: client churn.

Independent trainers tend to lose clients quietly. Sessions stop being logged, replies get shorter, an invoice goes unsettled — and the trainer often finds out weeks later. Athleex scores that risk per client from signals the platform already captures: training gaps, outstanding invoices, message silence and drops in program compliance, surfacing at-risk clients while there is still time to act.

Alongside the risk score, trainers get a business dashboard reporting MRR, ARR, ARPU, lifetime value, churn rate and cohort retention — metrics standard in SaaS but rarely put in front of a sole trader running a coaching practice.

The platform also covers the daily work: a drag-and-drop workout builder, nutrition and supplement planning, biometrics and assessments gated behind explicit consent under GDPR Article 9, in-app chat, and invoicing — trainers issue invoices to their own clients through the app, in their own currency, with the currency fixed per invoice and clients confirming receipt in-app. Athleex does not process those payments; it keeps the paperwork and its status in one place.

Athleex ships in six languages — English, Italian, Spanish, French, German, and Arabic with right-to-left support — and is available on the web and as native apps on the App Store and Google Play. Pricing starts free for up to three athletes, with paid plans from 49.90 euro per month.

“Most coaching software answers ‘what is my client doing this week?’,” said Pietro Previtali, founder of Athleex. “It doesn’t answer ‘who am I about to lose?’ For a trainer with thirty clients, that second question is the entire business. Losing four clients a quarter costs more than any tool they will ever buy.”
