ATLAUA launches a botanical recovery beverage in the U.S. as the intentional alternative to alcohol for athletes.
Athletes face constant pressure, elevated cortisol levels and disrupted sleep cycles leading to a recovery deficit that increases injury risk. Alcohol is the athlete’s default coping ritual, which deepens the problem: athletes who drink face more than double the injury risk of non-drinkers, with the hangover effect reducing the next day’s athletic performance. ATLAUA CALM is built to address this problem.
The formula pairs CBD isolate with five functional ingredients, Ashwagandha, Lion’s Mane, L-Theanine, GABA, and Magnesium, in a berry base. The blend was formulated around muscle recovery, sleep hygiene, nervous-system downshift and the kind of end-of-day calm that lets the body and mind unwind.
ATLAUA CALM comes in two formats:
- The Anfora, a 700ml handcrafted ceramic vessel priced at $99, is exclusive to Athlete Owners and luxury on-premise hospitality.
- The ATLAUA CALM Shots, a 4-pack of 60ml servings at $29, for the one by one recovery occasion.
The brand was founded by Adrian Goransch, a former professional soccer player who spent over a decade in VfL Wolfsburg’s academy system and reached Liga MX side Club América. A career-altering knee injury introduced him to CBD for recovery. Four years of research and development followed, benchmarked against one standard: what earns a product its place in a professional locker room.
Product access opens first through ATLAUA’s Club of Athletes ahead of on-premise rollout. The Club is a model built on ownership. A dedicated equity share of the company is reserved for professional athletes who join as partners, with five professionals across MLS, Liga MX, and the UEFA Champions League already holding equity positions. Entry-level membership at atlaua.shop/club opens product access beyond the equity tiers.
“For too long, athletes have had to choose between showing up socially and protecting their performance. ATLAUA exists so no athlete has to make that trade-off,” said Adrian Goransch, CEO and Founder of ATLAUA.
