Bevel, the AI-powered health companion helping people take control of their well-being, has raised $10 million in Series A funding led by General Catalyst. The new investment will fuel team expansion and accelerate development of the Bevel platform, extending its reach across more aspects of everyday health.
Bevel’s raise comes amid a broader shift toward proactive health and personalized AI. With wearables now ubiquitous, Bevel is part of a new generation of companies turning raw biometric data into meaningful action—bridging the gap between wellness and healthcare through connected, intelligent software.
Over the past year, Bevel has grown over 8x and now reaches more than 100,000 daily active users, making it one of the fastest-growing health apps in the U.S. The average user opens the app eight times per day, and retention exceeds 80 % after 90 days, well above category norms. This momentum follows the launch of Bevel Intelligence, the company’s new AI system that unifies sleep, exercise, nutrition, and lifestyle habits into a single, adaptive model of each user’s health.
“Bevel is designed to help people see how the different parts of their health connect,” said Grey Nguyen, Co-founder and CEO of Bevel. “With Bevel Intelligence, we’re moving beyond tracking to true understanding—where your data works together to help you make smarter, more informed decisions every day.”
Unlike traditional fitness or wellness trackers, Bevel acts as a holistic health companion, integrating with Apple Watch and other popular devices to translate raw data into actionable insights. It already syncs with most wearables through Apple Health and popular continuous glucose monitors such as Dexcom and Libre, with direct integrations for Garmin and others in development. Bevel’s AI engine analyzes daily behaviors across recovery, strain, sleep, and nutrition, helping users identify patterns and build habits that improve both performance and longevity.
“Healthcare should be proactive, affordable, and accessible to everyone,” said Neeraj Arora, Managing Director at General Catalyst. “Bevel’s mission to democratize health through intelligence and design deeply resonates with us. The level of engagement they’re seeing from users is remarkable, and it’s become part of people’s daily lives — not just another app. We’re excited to support this team as they build the future of personal health.”
Bevel was founded by Grey Nguyen, Ben Yang, and Aditya Agarwal. Nguyen previously led products at Campus, an innovative online college, while Yang worked on machine learning at Opendoor. Agarwal, formerly CTO of Dropbox, brings extensive experience building scalable, user-centric technology. Supported by advisors such as two-time Olympic gold medalist Ashton Eaton and Dr. Jordan Weiss of NYU Grossman School of Medicine, Bevel is dedicated to merging cutting-edge science with human performance.
The Series A funding will enable Bevel to continue building toward its vision of a fully integrated health ecosystem—expanding horizontally into more services and partnerships that make proactive health accessible to everyone.
Bevel is available on the App Store today. For more information, visit https://www.bevel.health.
