Body Fit Training (BFT) – one of the world’s fastest growing fitness franchises – is accelerating its UK growth with the successful launches of BFT Greenwich and BFT Streatham this autumn, while looking ahead to a brand-new studio in Chelmsford set to open in December.
Fuelled by soaring demand for its coach-led, science-backed strength training, the brand is building serious momentum as it expands its footprint across London and into key regional hotspots.
BFT’s newest studios are already creating a buzz. BFT Greenwich, led by franchisee Karen Martinez, opened at the start of October and has quickly established itself as a lively local hub, delivering the brand’s trademark science-backed programming in a sleek, premium environment.
Just weeks later, BFT Streatham opened its doors on 8th November – marking the second studio for franchisee and long-time BFT trailblazer Lauren Hendrie, who built strong community traction with her first studio, BFT Battersea.
The response to both openings has been overwhelmingly positive, showing how much demand is building across the capital.
The momentum doesn’t stop there. This December, BFT launches a third studio in as many months with the launch of BFT Chelmsford. Taking the brand’s recent expansion beyond London, the studio will be led by local franchisees Andy and Teresa Gilhooley, who are bringing their shared passion for fitness and community to Essex.
Reflecting on their journey so far, Andy said, “The BFT model was so strong and couldn’t be bettered – it’s such a great product. We did look at starting an independent gym, but we knew we couldn’t beat BFT.
“The support has been incredible too – right from day one. It’s been great knowing we can pick up the phone, ask any questions and that many successful franchisees have been in our position before.”
The surge of recent launches highlights the rising demand for BFT’s proven franchise model, structured training and innovative tech-led offering. The brand continues to attract high-calibre, community-focused partners eager to be part of a globally recognised fitness brand – and its UK network is scaling rapidly as a result.
