Cofertility’s Frozen Egg Donation Program Joins Progyny Network, Expanding Access to Egg Donation Through Employer-Sponsored Fertility Benefits

Progyny members with frozen donor egg coverage can now access Cofertility’s model, built on disclosure-readiness and family limits

Los Angeles, CA / Oct 21, 2026 / Cofertility

Cofertility, the fertility company bringing a modern approach to egg donation, today announced it has signed an agreement to become an in-network frozen donor egg bank for Progyny, a global leader in women’s health and family building benefits for life’s milestones. The partnership means that Progyny members with coverage for frozen donor eggs can now access Cofertility’s donors as part of their employer-sponsored fertility benefit, expanding the options available to members pursuing donor eggs.

“We’re excited to join the Progyny network and give intended parents pursuing donor eggs another option as they determine what’s right for their family,” said Lauren Makler, CEO and cofounder of Cofertility. “Our model is built around transparency, family limits, and mutual benefit, with every part of the experience designed to honor everyone involved: the donor, the intended parent, and the donor-conceived child down the line. We’re proud to make this approach available to Progyny members.”

For intended parents navigating the donor egg process, the addition of Cofertility to the Progyny network means access to a model that: each donor is capped at three recipient families, while most egg banks don’t publish a family limit at all; disclosed donations are an option from the start, and Cofertility never promises anonymity to donors or intended parents.

Progyny members with frozen donor egg coverage can access Cofertility’s donor platform by creating an account at cofertility.com/family/frozen-egg-donation.
