FIIT joins forces with Vertus and Cortland Living, launching its all-in-one digital fitness solution.
FIIT, the UK’s #1 digital fitness platform has a new home as it announces new strategic partnerships with Vertus and Cortland Living UK, two of the nation’s leading residential development providers. With the goal of elevating living through the power of next-gen connected workouts, the partnerships will enable each residential hub to add value, drive engagement and foster community for residents, united by the common goal of improving their mental and physical wellness.
By integrating the FIIT Platform within their current service offerings, over 3,000+ Cortland Living & Vertus residents will have unlimited access to thousands of workouts from strength and cardio to rebalance and bike, for use at home, in the gym, or on the go. Through the launch of FIIT Virtual Studios, residents can also benefit from a daily schedule of boutique-style connected group workouts, each led by world-class trainers, on their doorstep.
Elevating the living experience
For the residential and property market, offering cost-effective amenities that go beyond housing is a fundamental element to attract and retain residents. The shift towards remote work and pandemic-related changes have driven demand for flexible digital fitness solutions, particularly for Millennials and Gen Z. Expectations from multifamily tenants have also changed, with many looking for high-quality fitness facilities on-site.
“The residential market is undergoing significant change, with developers increasingly prioritising innovative wellness solutions as a key differentiator,” said Jamie Bantleman, FIIT Sales Development Manager. “At FIIT, we recognise that providing value-added amenities is a successful tool for attracting and retaining tenants. Our all-in-one digital fitness solution is designed to meet evolving consumer demands, offering a bespoke, seamless digital experience that enriches the quality of residential living.”
Vertus residents will benefit from three FIIT Virtual Studios across two buildings, along with complimentary access to the FIIT App, which provides residents with over 2,000+ interactive workouts, challenges and training plans for use at home, on the gym floor, or on the go.
At 10 George Street, a newly built bespoke 367 sq ft boutique immersive studio, designed in partnership with Solo60, is in operation. Setting a new standard in the residential market, a layer of gamification is added with performance metrics tracking live on screen, further enhancing the group workout experience for residents.
Functioning as a traditional gym, residents will have exclusive access to a tailored daily schedule of FIIT Virtual group workouts, suitable for a range of fitness abilities, operated by the newly developed FIIT Studio App. This plug-and-play solution powers FIIT Virtual workouts and Trainer Supervised sessions, activating and optimising the gym floor for residential developments. Purpose-built for fitness operators of all sizes, the studio app is a cost-effective way to enhance the capabilities of fitness facilities, delivering engaging connected group workout experiences and community engagement tools across multiple sites.
Residents will also get exclusive access to a FIIT Virtual Rebalance Studio with scheduled yoga, pilates, and barre classes at 10 George Street. At Newfoundland, a FIIT Virtual Bike Studio is in operation. Both studios provide residents with a tailored schedule reflective of resident preferences and needs.
“FIIT was the ideal partner to deliver a premium and flexible digital fitness experience for our residents,” said Freya Richard, Vertus Director of Leasing and Operations. “At Vertus, we are committed to integrating top-tier amenities that enhance the health and wellness of our residents. By incorporating the FIIT Studio app as an in-gym solution and unlocking access to the FIIT app, we ensure our residents get access to an unrivalled workout experience. This partnership guarantees expertly-led group instruction and flexibility, allowing residents to work out whenever and wherever they choose.”
Launching its UK flagship scheme earlier this year, Cortland Living at Colliers Yard, Manchester, rolled out two new resident-only FIIT Virtual fitness suites (Bike and Rebalance) to enhance its new on-site state-of-the-art fitness facilities. A second Birmingham site at Broad St has also been signed, with an additional multi-discipline FIIT Virtual studio.
In addition, through this partnership, residents will have complimentary unlimited access to the FIIT app, providing thousands of on-demand workouts – adaptable with or without equipment – ensuring residents can stay fit conveniently, on-site or on the go.
“At Cortland, our developments focus on hospitality-driven living, tailoring every element to our residents’ needs,” said Jack McFarlane, Cortland Living Development Project Manager. “We are now positioned to deliver a hybrid fitness offering and are thrilled to collaborate with FIIT to enhance our UK developments, with the integration of the FIIT Platform. Flexibility is key today, and now all our residents can experience FIIT’s world-class workouts from their apartment, the studio, or the gym floor.”
