MAYAH launches with a collection of three dermatologist developed, clinically tested bodycare products, setting a new standard for what it means to be MotherSafe*.

This product launch marks the ‘ERA OF MOTHER®’ – MAYAH’s vision to redefine how mothers are seen, served and championed, with the clinical rigour, unapologetic design and community depth the category has long been missing.

From the packaging, to the visual world and tone of voice, MAYAH is intentionally bold, rejecting the soft codes of traditional maternal care. A statement palette of bright orange and deep plum and a fashion-forward visual language showcases mothers as the expressive, confident and self-defined women they are – made for ‘her’ as much as the journey she’s on. Display-worthy bottles created to live proudly on your shelf, made to be seen and enjoyed, not hidden out of sight.

Speaking with more than 300 mothers and mothers-to-be before developing a single product, they found that 76%were worried about their shift in body image and loss of identity during and after pregnancy, and 68% were unsure which beauty products were safe to use.“ From the beginning, we agreed we wouldn’t build MAYAH on any assumptions,” says Rebecca Heywood, Co-founder of MAYAH. “By listening to hundreds of women and mapping out over 52 concerns across every stage, we created products that respond to what mothers actually told us they needed in their everyday lives.”

These insights cemented identity as a core value for MAYAH – creating products and experiences that help women feel more themselves, at every stage of the motherhood journey.

Addressing the Full Arc of Motherhood

MAYAH is built around what the founders call The Motherhood Arc – the belief that motherhood begins long before a positive pregnancy test, and continues long after birth. Women are making decisions about their bodies, routines and ingredients years before conception, and need products that meet them where they are, not just at a single moment.

About Mayah

Founded by Jessica Smith and Rebecca Heywood, MAYAH was born from lived experience navigating miscarriages, fluctuating AMH levels, and the challenges of trying to conceive. At every turn, they found a landscape that felt uninspired and confusing – split between mother-and-baby products and generic bodycare, with little that truly spoke to women through TTC (trying to conceive), pregnancy and beyond. While maternal care has traditionally focused on the health of the baby, MAYAH shifts the focus back to the mothers themselves, in a category long defined by compromise.
