FÔLD’s Re:Circle Gifts Reformers to Dundee Charity, Heart Space, as Trade-In Scheme Opens to UK Gyms and Studios
Following the launch of Re-Circle, FÔLD gifted four Pre-Loved reformers to Dundee charity Heart Space to mark opening its B2B trade-in scheme to gyms and studios looking to upgrade equipment.
FÔLD, the independent British reformer Pilates brand, has delivered the first tangible result of Re-Circle by gifting four refurbished reformers to Heart Space, a Dundee-based community charity, chosen and voted for from public nominations that included venues across the UK.
The donation follows Re-Circle’s launch earlier this month (see press release HERE), built around three pillars: a B2B Trade-In Programme, a Pre-Loved resale initiative, and a Buy-Back Scheme for existing FÔLD owners. The Trade-In Programme is now open to commercial operators. Gyms, studios and wellness spaces can trade in current equipment (reformers, treadmills and more, of any brand) for credit against new FÔLD equipment, removing the cost and hassle of disposing of previous kit.
The scheme provides a real solution to a common problem for operators: equipment upgrades that leave old machines with nowhere to go but landfill or storage. FÔLD’s Pre-Loved initiative, which resells refurbished ex-demo units at accessible prices, has already shown demand for the model, selling out 50 units in a single weekend earlier this year.
Heart Space, the winning charity, have run community wellbeing programmes in Dundee for 15 years. The charity will use the four reformers to extend its existing mat Pilates and yoga offering, currently reaching more than 10,000 people annually across Dundee, Tayside and Angus, including outreach work in secure units, community centres and with specialised medical groups.
This will be the first in a number of initiatives FÔLD will run as part of their Re:Circle programme.
