freddy, a personal health-data service operated by reThrive Labs LLC, today released native iOS and Android apps, extending its platform from the web to mobile. The apps let users connect Apple Health on iPhone and Health Connect on Android — on-device health data a browser cannot reach — and make it queryable through AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT.
freddy is a hosted service that consolidates a person’s health and training data (sleep, recovery, heart-rate variability, workouts, and continuous glucose) from wearables, rings, CGMs, and training platforms, and exposes it to any AI client that supports the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Users connect their sources once and receive a private URL they add to the AI of their choice, then ask questions about their own data in plain language instead of switching between separate apps and dashboards.
The mobile apps address a gap the web version could not: on-device health data. Apple Health and Android Health Connect aggregate metrics from a phone, watch, and third-party apps, but that data is only reachable through an installed application. With the new apps, freddy syncs it in the background and makes it available to the user’s AI alongside their other connected sources.
“Health data lives in a dozen disconnected apps, and none of them talk to the tools people now use to think“, said Tom Tomaszewski, founder of freddy. “Bringing freddy to mobile means the data on someone’s phone, not just their desktop, can be part of that conversation.”
freddy is direct-to-consumer: each user connects their own accounts, the service reads their data on their behalf, and access is read-only and revocable. freddy does not train models on user data. Supported sources include Oura, WHOOP, Garmin, Polar, Withings, Dexcom, Suunto, Hevy, Concept2, Intervals.icu, and Ultrahuman, in addition to Apple Health and Health Connect.
Availability
The freddy apps are available now on the App Store and Google Play.
freddy is the health context layer for AI. It connects a person’s wearables, rings, CGMs, and training platforms to Claude, ChatGPT, and other MCP-compatible AI clients so they can ask about their own health and performance data in natural language.
freddy is operated by reThrive Labs LLC, a Wyoming company.
