GORUCK Announces Exclusive Partnership With Six-Time CrossFit Games Champion Tia-Clair Toomey
Dominant Champion and Relentless Athlete Seeks to Secure 7th CrossFit Games Title with Her Daughter Watching
GORUCK, the leader of the rucking revolution and maker of the most durable products on planet Earth, has announced that six-time CrossFit Games Champion and Olympic weightlifter Tia-Clair Toomey has joined the brand as the newest GORUCK Athlete. Tia is the most decorated athlete (male or female) in the history of CrossFit and this August will be the first Games that her daughter, Willow, will be watching as she relentlessly pursues her 7th championship in Ft. Worth, Texas.
Following two second-place finishes in 2015 and 2016, Tia captured six consecutive CrossFit Games championships from 2017-22 before not participating last year following the birth of her daughter Willow. Tia is also a three-time winner of the Rogue Invitational, capturing gold from 2019-21. A native of Queensland, Tia represented her native Australia in weightlifting at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio. Currently, she resides in Nashville with her husband, Shane, and their daughter, Willow. When Tia isn’t training to win her seventh CrossFit Games, she can be found training with her husband and trainer, Shane, at the gym they co-own in Nashville – PRVN.
