Highland Farms, a Delhi-based artisanal dairy brand, has launched a 7-day trial subscription for its A2 Desi Cow Milk, giving new customers in Delhi NCR a short-term, low-risk way to test the product before committing to a recurring plan.
A2 milk comes from desi cow breeds and contains only the A2 beta-casein protein, unlike regular milk which contains a mix of A1 and A2 proteins. Proponents say A2 milk is easier to digest and less likely to cause the bloating or discomfort some people associate with regular dairy — a claim of growing interest to fitness and wellness consumers tracking protein intake and gut health.
The trial is built into Highland Farms’ existing subscription infrastructure, which handles daily and recurring delivery across Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, and Ghaziabad. Milk is delivered in reusable glass bottles as part of the brand’s broader sustainability positioning, and is sourced from free-range cows grazed in the Aravalli hills near Alwar, Rajasthan.
The move follows a broader trend among D2C dairy and functional-food brands using trial periods to lower the barrier to subscription commitment, a model more commonly seen in supplement and meal-kit categories than in fresh dairy.
Customers in Delhi NCR can start the 7-day trial directly on the A2 Desi Cow Milk product page, with the option to convert to a full subscription plan afterward.
