The Practice, a first-of-its-kind,wellness destination founded by mental health professional Sara Jackson, announces today its opening in Toronto’s Annex neighbourhood at 360 Davenport Road. As people increasingly seek wellness experiences that go deeper, The Practice offers a space where psychotherapy and sound healing share the same address, and where the experience of showing up for yourself has been completely reimagined.
The Practice brings together psychotherapy, life and career coaching, chakra healing & embodiment work, red light therapy, yoga, meditation, breathwork, sound baths, lymphatic modalities, and vibrational therapy, and frequency healing- alongside a café, curated retail, dedicated event spaces, and a rooftop patio.
“I spent decades in clinical settings that were deeply professional but lacked warmth, and rarely focused on what was possible,” said Sara Jackson, founder, The Practice. “My own healing journey taught me that what we need most is not just a place to process pain, but a place to remember who we are beyond it. The Practice is everything I wished had existed when I needed it most.”
INSIDE THE PRACTICE
Spanning over 6,000 sq ft across 4 floors at 360 Davenport Road, The Practice has been designed as an antidote to the traditional clinical setting. Rich tones & textures, warm light, and luxurious finishes set the tone. The space was designed to highlight the relationship between environment and emotional wellbeing, and the belief that colour and light are not decorative choices but therapeutic ones. The space features:
- A full yoga studio offering multiple modalities including: red light yoga, sound baths, meditation, and breathwork classes
- Private treatment rooms for psychotherapy, coaching, chakra healing & frequency work, lymphatic modalities , and vibrational therapy beds
- Wellness café ft. coffee, matcha, herbal tea, ceremonial cacao, and nourishing smoothies
- A curated retail space featuring wellness essentials
- Dedicated event spaces for workshops, gatherings, and community programming
- A rooftop patio for connection, conversation, and open-air community

The Practice was built as a direct response to a gap Sara Jackson observed across more than two decades working in mental health. The traditional model of therapy was rooted in a hierarchical dynamic that placed the clinician as expert and the client as patient – rigid, distancing, and focused on symptom management over genuine growth. The Practice is the antidote to that model: equally professional in its approach, but warmer, more intentional, and more connected in its experience.
At a time when mental health awareness has never been higher and yet rates of depression and anxiety have not meaningfully declined, The Practice is asking a different question: what if the goal wasn’t just to help people feel better in the moment, but to help them truly live better? Where grief and joy can coexist, and where everyone – from those navigating their hardest moments to those ready to expand, evolve, and step into the next version of themselves – is welcome exactly as they are.
BEHIND THE BRAND: MEET SARA JACKSON
Founder, The Practice
Sara Jackson is a mental health professional, entrepreneur, and author with more than two decades of experience in psychotherapy & wellness. She began her career as a trauma-specialized psychotherapist, working in hospital settings with clients navigating eating disorders, trauma, grief, and complex mental health presentations, before transitioning into private practice and ultimately into building something entirely her own.
Rooted in the belief that healing and growth are not separate journeys, Sara founded The Practice to create a space that goes beyond the traditional clinical model – one that is equally professional in its approach, but warmer, more intentional, and more connected in its experience.
The Practice is the culmination of three years of development and a deeply personal vision for what wellness can look and feel like when it is built by someone who has spent a career inside the existing system and understands exactly what has been missing.
Sara is also the author of The Whisper, a book exploring intuition, self-trust, and what becomes possible when you learn to hear your own voice above the noise.
