OVARIANA is designed for women across life stages, including those living with PCOS, endometriosis, persistent or recurring pain, and changes associated with menopause. Its purpose is to help users retain details of their experiences over time and bring those observations and questions into conversations with healthcare professionals.
The product combines symptom recording, a history users can review, women’s health information and reports based on recorded observations to support preparation for medical appointments.
Users can record observations including pain, bleeding, sleep, mood, energy and hot flashes, alongside everyday context. Entries form a history that users can return to when reviewing what they experienced, when it occurred and what they want to discuss at an appointment. The platform supports personal review without interpreting the medical meaning of those observations.
For appointment preparation, OVARIANA provides reports drawn from the user’s recorded history. Report availability depends on the history covering the selected reporting period. These reports organize recorded information for discussion with a clinician; they do not establish a diagnosis, interpret symptoms or determine an individual’s medical risk.
The platform also includes a women’s health Knowledge library covering subjects such as cycle changes, bleeding, pelvic pain, PCOS, endometriosis, menopause and health after menopause. The content is intended to help users explore unfamiliar topics, understand relevant terminology and prepare questions. Educational information and personal observations remain distinct from clinical assessment.
The launch introduces the current web product as part of MEDAI’s continuing development of OVARIANA for international use. Mobile versions are being developed, with distribution through Google Play and the Apple App Store planned following approval. Users can currently access the web app using the same account on phone and computer.
MEDAI is inviting healthcare professionals from different countries to discuss collaboration on the platform’s further development, including local health information needs and the presentation of patient-recorded observations for medical conversations.
OVARIANA is educational and non-diagnostic. It does not assess individual medical risk or replace a healthcare professional or medical advice.
