Fitness Tracking Without Looking Down
San Francisco, CA / Feb 13, 2026 / Minimis

The era of the fragmented athlete tech stack is ending.

Minimis is consolidating the $20B wearables market by merging the sports watch and bike computer into a standalone head-up display sunglasses.

Co-founders Joseph Guo and Paul Skevington quit high-paying careers in law and medical technologies to go all-in on Minimis Flow, to tackle their personal frustrations with existing wearables.

Minimis Flow will let runners and cyclists track and see everything they need within a lightweight pair of sports sunglasses, without dependence on any other device.

The glasses will be fully standalone with a built-in optical heart rate tracker, ANT+ chip, GPS, eSIM and more. This enables athletes to leave their phones at home and make calls on the go.

Minimis believes just like the windscreen GPS and MP3 player were merged into the phone, the sports watch and bike computers will inevitably be merged into smart sunglasses.

The VC arm of Entrepreneur Media has invested in Minimis in a deal that includes coverage going forward to their millions of readers. They join 18 angels including Kenneth Lo, 2x world champion track cyclist and Nathan Yu, former Microsoft Hololens Head of Product.

Initially targeting runners & cyclists, Minimis has a roadmap to expand their offerings to golf, snow and swim sports.

Minimis Flow begun as a rough sketch that went viral in late 2022 on TAUR, the Trail and Ultra Running Facebook group.

Since then, they’ve been buoyed organically by a passionate community in both product feedback and preorders.

It was this community who asked for the expansion of Minimis Flow to cycling, and even converted co-founder Joseph Guo to fall in love with cycling.

Minimis are big believers in the power of mass participation and building products iteratively with community every step of the way.

Minimis invites you to join its quest to create the best wearable for 180m+ runners & cyclists worldwide.
