Created with the team behind his five Olympic titles, OLY helps users build lasting exercise habits with coaching tailored to their goals, neurotype, schedule and daily readiness

In partnership with insurer Alan and wellness app publisher Rocapine, OLY aims to help address low activity levels in the US, where just over one in four adults meet exercise guidelines

An estimated 50% of people who begin an exercise programme stop within the first six months, with further research pointing to difficulty fitting exercise around everyday life and an unmet need for support and accountability as key factors influencing dropout. It is precisely this gap that OLY (oly.coach), a new deeply personalised fitness coaching app launched by five-time Olympic champion Teddy Riner, the most decorated judoka in history, aims to fill.

The need for new solutions is evident: according to the US Department of Health and Human Services, just 26.4% of adults aged 18 and over meet federal guidelines for both aerobic and muscle-strengthening activity. Targeting one million users in its first year, OLY aims to address this by taking a more comprehensive approach to fitness personalisation, tailoring each programme not only to a user’s goals but also to their neurotype, schedule and daily readiness, with a coach guiding them at every stage.

Developed with the coaches behind Riner’s Olympic success, including his physical and mental performance coach Julien Corvo, the app also considers deeper behavioural patterns, such as whether someone is a natural leader or more reserved, endurance-oriented or explosive, disciplined or motivated by enjoyment, to shape how their programme is delivered.

Whether users train in the gym or at home, with equipment or using bodyweight alone, every session is tailored to their circumstances and personality. Before every workout, a quick check-in on fitness, energy levels and muscle soreness adjusts the day’s plan. Users are guided from the first movement to the last, including the warm-up and cool-down, through classic sets, AMRAPs, EMOMs or supersets.

Teddy guides users throughout their journey, just like a real coach. He checks in before every session and adapts it to how they are feeling that day. He adjusts the programme based on their feedback, prepares tailored stretching routines and provides nutritional advice, all with the same discipline as the method that took him to the very top.

Where most fitness apps offer exercise libraries that are quickly explored and just as quickly abandoned, OLY makes the opposite bet: less content, more structure. Built for daily return, the app centres on the day’s session, habits to keep, and visible progress.

Teddy Riner is launching the app in partnership with insurer Alan and wellness app publisher Rocapine. Rocapine led the app’s development alongside the five-time Olympic champion and his performance team, translating their unique method into a deeply personalised digital experience. Alan contributed its deep expertise in health and prevention. Available worldwide, OLY will initially focus its launch on France and the United States.

“Don’t think of exercise as a constraint; think of it as something to enjoy. Sport doesn’t necessarily mean going to a gym or riding a bike. It means moving in your own way, based on who you are. That is exactly what we have put into OLY: assessing who you are and what you need, then giving it to you in the right way.”

“Our business is transforming exceptional methods into everyday products. Working with Teddy’s team, we have translated the discipline and personalisation provided by an Olympic champion’s performance staff into an app – a coach that anyone can carry in their pocket. OLY embodies what we want to build at Rocapine: apps that have a genuine impact on well-being and make people want to come back tomorrow.”

– Stanislas Marchand, co-founder and CEO of Rocapine

Rocapine is the publisher shaping the next generation of wellness apps, designed to “hold instead of hook”: apps that use AI to adapt to each individual and deliver a genuine impact on well-being, rather than maximising screen time.

Founded in late 2024 by Stanislas Marchand (formerly Voodoo), Jean-Gabriel Boinot-Tramoni and Sammy Teillet, the company operates in Paris, Nantes and Barcelona. Its portfolio includes Harmony, Eve, That Girl, Unchaind and Stashcook. Within nine months, Rocapine reached $6 million in annual recurring revenue and 2.5 million downloads worldwide. The United States accounts for 70% of its revenue, and the company announced a $13 million Series A funding round in June 2026.

OLY is available from today on the App Store and Google Play. It includes a seven-day free trial, followed by a subscription providing access to the complete personalised programme.
