MOVE Wellness Club, a Los Angeles-based consumer technology startup, officially launched its iOS app on October 7, introducing a new social networking platform designed to bring people together offline through movement, sports, and fitness.

Founded by Lauryn Hudson, a former AI engineer at JPMorgan and founding engineer at a venture-backed AI startup, MOVE is challenging traditional social networking by building technology designed to turn digital discovery into meaningful real-world experiences.

As run clubs, boutique fitness communities, and recreational sports leagues increasingly become spaces for social connection, MOVE aims to provide the digital infrastructure connecting people, organizers, and movement-based experiences.

A Social Network Built to Take You IRL

Through the MOVE app, users can discover and join local MOVEs, host their own experiences, and connect with others through shared interests. From running and hiking to Pilates, pickleball, cycling, and recreational sports, MOVE brings diverse movement communities together in one platform.

For community organizers, MOVE provides tools to create and manage MOVEs, grow their audiences, and monetize experiences through integrated ticketing and community-building features.

Unlike traditional fitness applications centered on performance tracking and workout metrics, MOVE is built around the social experience of movement.

“Movement is the wedge. Belonging is the product.”

Connecting Brands, Communities, and Consumers

Ahead of its official App Store launch, MOVE began cultivating its community through activations with brands including HOKA and New Balance.

These experiences combine movement, product discovery, and social connection, demonstrating the role movement communities can play in connecting brands with engaged local audiences.

MOVE has also introduced its Founding 100 initiative, inviting movement organizations and community leaders to become early partners in building the platform’s growing ecosystem.

The Future of Social Fitness

MOVE’s long-term vision extends beyond fitness discovery. The company aims to become the social infrastructure for real-world connection, supporting individuals, independent organizers, studios, recreational leagues, and movement communities.

By combining social discovery, community-building, and hosting tools, MOVE is creating a platform where people can find their communities and organizers can grow their businesses.

The MOVE app is now available on the Apple App Store.
