MySwimPro Passes 2 Million Downloads and Raises Capital From App Users to Scale Globally
Named Apple App of the Year in 2016, MySwimPro has grown to 2 million+ downloads organically without big venture capital backing, instead relying on its user base for funding.
As the world’s #1 fitness app for swimmers, MySwimPro has announced an equity crowdfunding campaign to expand its personalized swim coaching offering.
Since the pandemic bottom 18 months ago, the business has doubled revenue and tripled its audience size. New investment will support continued growth in 2024 and beyond.
Since 2015, the MySwimPro app has provided personalized daily workouts, training plans and analytics to help swimmers of all levels improve their performance and health. The app is available on iOS, Android, Apple Watch, Garmin and WearOS.
Prior to the current online public campaign, MySwimPro has raised just under $1M from over 500 investors on Wefunder, including app users, swimming enthusiasts and community members. The current campaign allows anyone to invest for a minimum of $500 USD.
