Output Sports has announced the launch of Output Program, a new performance coaching platform designed to bring programming, testing, monitoring and velocity-based training into one connected system. Built for strength and conditioning coaches, performance facilities and team sport environments, Output Program enables coaches to manage athlete performance within a single workflow rather than across multiple tools.

FIBO will provide one of the first opportunities for coaches to see the platform in action.

In many coaching environments today, programming, performance testing and athlete monitoring are handled separately. Training plans often live in spreadsheets, testing is conducted in standalone systems and performance data is stored across a multitude of platforms. This fragmented approach leads to disconnected data, increased manual workload and limited visibility into an athlete’s holistic progress over time.

Output Program addresses this challenge by integrating these elements into a single platform. Coaches can capture key strength and power metrics, including velocity and other validated performance measurements, directly within training sessions. This data is automatically recorded and organized, giving coaches a clear view of athlete progress across sessions and training cycles. The result is a more informed approach to coaching, where decisions can be guided by objective data rather than observation alone.

Commenting on the launch, Martin O’Reilly said, “We’ve spent years working closely with coaches and seeing first-hand how fragmented the performance process can be. Programming, testing and monitoring have traditionally lived in separate systems, which makes it difficult to see the full picture of an athlete’s development. Output Program has been built to bring these elements together into one continuous workflow, giving coaches clearer connected insights through a single viewing lens better informing the decisions they make every day.”

Output Program is designed to fit seamlessly into real-world coaching workflows. Coaches can plan sessions, run training and review performance data without switching between systems. It supports environments where multiple athletes or teams are managed simultaneously, making it easier to program, monitor and analyse performance at scale.

While the platform can be used independently for programming and session management, it also integrates with Output hardware to enable the capture of detailed strength, power and velocity metrics during training. This flexibility allows coaches to adopt the system in a way that suits their current setup while still benefiting from a connected performance environment.

Developed through more than a decade of sports science research, Output technology has demonstrated strong agreement with force plate testing and comparable accuracy to gold-standard velocity-based training systems. It is currently used by teams and organisations across elite sport, including professional leagues and Olympic programs.

Output Program represents a shift toward a more integrated approach to performance coaching, where training, testing and monitoring are no longer separate processes but part of a continuous system. By connecting these elements, the platform provides coaches with greater visibility, improved efficiency and the tools to make better decisions over time.

Output Program will be available for demonstrations at the FIBO trade show, Cologne, Germany, April 16-19. The Output Sports team can be found in Hall 9, stand D25, hosted by Perform Better and will also be present in the HYROX activation zone, Hall 10 throughout Friday, April 17.
