Ozlo Expands Neuroscience Capabilities with Acquisition of Segotia

Ozlo, the company behind the award-winning Sleepbuds, today announced the acquisition of Segotia, an Ireland-based neuroscience and technology company. The Segotia team will serve as Ozlo’s dedicated neuroscience R&D hub, strengthening the company’s understanding of how the brain works during sleep and accelerating innovation across Ozlo’s roadmap.

Sleep plays a foundational role in both physical recovery and cognitive performance. By deepening its neuroscience expertise, Ozlo is advancing its ability to study how the brain supports these processes during sleep and how technology can better support them.

Founded as a specialist in hearable technologies, Segotia has pioneered engineering excellence in audio and neuroscience, with strong academic partnerships across universities and teaching hospitals. Ozlo plans to leverage this research network to further explore the role of sleep in long-term health, chronic conditions, and human performance.
