West Midtown location opening in early 2025 signals commitment to the growth of the sport of padel in the nation’s sixth-largest metropolitan market
Padel Haus, the leading American padel operator, has announced its newest club in Atlanta, Georgia, slated to open its doors in early 2025.
The new 24,500-square-foot facility, located at Westside Paper (950 West Marietta Street), a repurposed paper manufacturing campus in West Midtown, will be the seventh club announced by Padel Haus and the first dedicated padel club in Atlanta.
Padel Haus Atlanta will feature a total of six state-of-the-art courts, including one center court for international competition and ~40’ ceiling heights, establishing the club as the premier destination for padel enthusiasts in the region. Further, Padel Haus Atlanta will offer a holistic wellness experience with amenities such as Juice Haus, upscale locker rooms with rain showers, a pro shop, and the Padel Haus Academy for padel instruction.
“We are thrilled to bring Padel Haus and this exciting sport to the vibrant Atlanta community, which boasts a thriving racket sports culture. With the Atlanta BeltLine set to reach our doorstep by 2025, the enhanced connectivity and artistic influence of the neighborhood make this an ideal location for us”. said Santiago Gomez, Founder and CEO of Padel Haus. “Westside Paper, is a transformative project combining modern design with Atlanta’s industrial past. The uniqueness of our space here will mark it as one of the most iconic padel clubs in the world”
Reimagined by FCP® and Westbridge, Westside Paper is a 70-year-old former paper manufacturing plant that has been transformed into a dynamic mixed-use development. The complex’s industrial heritage and soaring ceilings make it an ideal location for the sophisticated installation of padel courts, a sport known for its unique construction requirements.
The addition also aligns with Westside Paper’s focus on health, fitness, and wellness — a rapidly growing economic sector.
“The inclusion of Padel Haus is a tremendous win for Westside Paper,” said Chris Faussemagne, Managing Partner of Westbridge. “Padel is one of the fastest-growing international sports, and we are excited to introduce this high-level athletic experience to Atlanta.”
Since its founding in July 2022, Padel Haus has rapidly become a leader in the U.S. padel scene. The announcement of Padel Haus Atlanta underscores the company’s strategic growth initiatives and dedication to making padel accessible to a broader audience. With three clubs already operating in New York City and upcoming locations in Nashville and Denver, the company continues its mission to create premium spaces that blend athletics, wellness, and lifestyle to offer an unparalleled padel experience in the U.S.

About Padel
Invented in Mexico in 1969, padel is widely considered the world’s fastest-growing sport, with over 25 million people playing in more than 90 countries. The sport has seen exponential growth in recent years and is particularly popular in Latin America, Europe, and the Middle East. In Spain alone, it is now the second most popular sport, after soccer, with over 22,000 courts. Padel is described as a mixture of tennis and squash, played in a doubles format on an enclosed 66ft x 33ft court, approximately one-third the size of a tennis court. It uses balls similar to tennis and specialized carbon fiber rackets with holes. Known for its accessibility and inclusivity, padel is considered less technical than tennis and squash, making it easier to pick up.
