Created in 2014, Like the Wind magazine is a coffee-table style quarterly magazine that explores global running culture through long form storytelling and arresting design. LtW – as it is know – is written, designed and produced by runners for people with running as a big part of their lifestyle. The magazine’s strapline – since the first edition – is “it’s why we run” which explains its focus on stories rather than product reviews and training tips.
In April 2026 Like the Wind unveiled its first edition of LtW USA. This addition to the LtW family joins LtW Japan, which was first published in 2024.
LtW USA shares its DNA – as well as the majority of the stories printed on the pages – with the original global edition. And then around 20% of the stories are unique for the North American audience.
Edited and printed in the United States, LtW USA retains its focus on quality: the best running writing in the world; high quality, heavy paper; beautiful photography and illustrations; and pin sharp, best in class printing.
Available via subscription and in a select number of specilty running and magazine retailers, Like the Wind USA is for people who care about running and everything that goes with it.
Like the Wind USA is a part of the LtW Media family. The magazine explores running culture from around the world as well as social issues through the lens of running. All written by, edited by, designed and illustrated by real human beings who also run.
