Sahha, the health, fitness and lifestyle behavioral data company, has announced the public release of Sahha Insights — a developer-friendly API that transforms wearable and smartphone data into real-time trends and comparisons across core health and wellbeing metrics like activity, sleep, mental wellness and readiness. With a single integration, product teams can utilize Sahha Insights to build personalization and decision logic that requires an understanding of health trends or comparisons directly into their app UX without requiring a datascience team.

Aleks Dahlberg, Founder of Sahha: “Consumers expect their health and fitness platforms to know them — not just count steps. They want services that adapt to their reality in real time while providing context of how you are trending or comparing to reflect on: how does your sleep-deprived Monday compare to last week? What about the high-stress Wednesdays you usually face? How are your faring to others in your age group? Sahha Insights helps to deliver that level of contextual intelligence instantly within any app. This level of insight is now table stakes for every app in the wellness space.”

Instead of forcing developers to interpret raw health data, Sahha Insights delivers ready-to-use trends and comparisons via API:

  • Trends: Track how scores, factors, or biomarkers are changing over time — rising, falling, or stable — with meaningful context beyond the daily snapshot.
  • Comparisons: Benchmark individual data against peers, population norms, or personal baselines to quickly assess what’s typical or out of range.

Insights are derived from the data Sahha already collects and analyzes — including health scores, biomarkers, and behavioral signals. Rather than looking at a single point in time, Insights evaluate patterns across time to generate meaningful summaries.

“Think of it this way: (Sahha) Scores are the current photo. Insights are the time-lapse.” says Sugam Budhraja, Head of Data & Science at Sahha. “They are designed for integration into dashboards, alerts, nudges, or reports — wherever you need to detect and respond to behavioral change.”

These outputs are designed to further help teams personalize user journeys, automate nudges, and surface relevant content — all without manually defining thresholds, segmenting users, or building a behavioral model from scratch.

Sahha Insights can power a wide range of intelligent features in your product:

  • Progress Monitoring : Detect whether users are improving or declining in health.
  • Behavioral Intelligence : Understand lifestyle changes without digging into raw data.
  • Smart Nudges : Trigger actions and recommendations based on meaningful trend shifts.
  • Personalization : Tailor content or recommendations based on patterns, not just state.
  • User Reports : Generate reports for users to track their progress over time.
  • Visualizations : Display insights in charts or graphs to help users understand their health and lifestyle.

Sahha Insights represents the third product launch for Sahha in 2025, and is already seeing integration happen across the health and wellbeing market by enterprises and startups alike.
