Sauna House, the pioneering modern bathhouse brand, is thrilled to announce its expansion into the Austin market with the recent sale of three franchise territories. This strategic move is part of Sauna House’s broader initiative to bring its unique communal bathing offering to more communities across the nation. Austin represents the largest market the company has sold to date.

The Texas capital’s dynamic cultural scene and health-conscious community make it the perfect home for Sauna House’s next chapter. “We are excited to bring our unique wellness experience to Austin,” says CEO & Founder Andrew Lachlan. “There is a growing, national trend of people seeking social opportunities that are not necessarily centered around alcohol. With three additional locations being brought to Austin by partners Wayne Orchid, Chanelle MacNab and Andrew Neuenschwander, Sauna House is set to become a wellness staple in the city’s vibrant social scene. MacNab, the visionary behind the group’s bathhouse mission, brings decades of experience in the Austin Health and Wellness Community. Orchid and Neuenschwander share MacNab’s passion for contrast therapy, and provide operational and project management expertise from respective careers in the technology sector. MacNab has refined the spark for this project over several years, and the trio is thrilled to be moving forward in partnership with Sauna House to bring this high-demand concept to the booming city of Austin.

Sauna House is redefining the wellness industry with its unique take on modern communal bathing. Unlike many of the private infrared cabin options, Sauna House has curated a more welcoming and personable tone. Its beautiful, open layouts are designed for a comfortable, relaxing flow. All Sauna House locations are device-free, providing a respite from the productivity notifications and hum of social media that compete for our attention throughout the day.

Alongside its 2025 expansion into Austin, Sauna House has made significant strides in franchise sales and new build outs across the country. “This year has been pivotal for Sauna House. With multiple new locations currently under construction, we are on track for three new openings in the Southeast by the end of the year,” Lachlan adds.
