SALTE, clean Scandinavian electrolyte brand, is building strong momentum across both direct-to-consumer and B2B channels – a sign of the growing shift toward cleaner, functional hydration within the performance and wellness space.
Since launching in 2024, SALTE has seen steady month-on-month growth and exceptional D2C performance. With an average order value of €55 and a site conversion rate above 5%, the brand continues to outperform category benchmarks – and a 40% retention rate confirms its product–market fit and loyal community.
While D2C remains a core driver, around 50% of total sales now come from B2B partners, including premium gyms, wellness studios, cafés and retail chains. This dual-channel approach allows SALTE to connect with consumers at every stage – from training and recovery to everyday wellbeing.
Since migrating to Shopify in March 2025, SALTE has strengthened its direct-to-consumer model, delivering consistent month-on-month growth and strong retention. The brand is on track to generate €1.6–€1.7 million in revenue for 2025, with ambitions to reach €3.4 million in 2026 as it scales across the UK and Europe.
The traction comes amid growing demand for functional hydration, with the global electrolyte drinks market projected to grow at a CAGR of 5.6% through 2033, reaching nearly $64 billion in value. As active consumers move away from high-sugar sports drinks, SALTE’s clean, balanced formulation – built around the Scandinavian principles of simplicity and performance – is setting a new standard in hydration.
“Our retention rate is one of the most exciting signals for us. It shows that people aren’t just trying SALTE once; they’re coming back because it genuinely works for them,” says Jesper Ståhl, co-founder of SALTE. “As we head into Q4, the focus is on growing visibility and strengthening partnerships, both online and within premium wellness spaces where our audience already lives.”
With continued growth across both D2C and B2B channels, SALTE is poised to continue expanding its footprint across the UK and Europe in 2026, partnering with leading performance and wellness destinations along the way.
Founded in Scandinavia in 2024 by a group of friends who wanted a cleaner, more effective alternative to traditional sports drinks, SALTE embodies the Scandi principles of simplicity, functionality, and balance. Its signature formula combines 800 mg sodium, 400 mg potassium, and 60 mg magnesium per serving in a carefully calibrated 2:1 ratio of sodium to potassium – designed to reflect real physiological needs. Trusted across Scandinavia and now expanding into the UK, SALTE’s mission is to deliver no-nonsense hydration that supports both performance and everyday wellbeing.
