TFAP Awards Return in 2026 with Global Spotlight on Women in Sport

TFAP Awards 2026
Sydney, AU / Oct 20, 2026 / TFAP

The Female Athlete Project (TFAP) is excited to announce the return of the 2026 TFAP Awards, a night dedicated to celebrating the women rewriting sport in Australia with voting officially open today.

For the first time in 2026, the TFAP Awards will move from an online celebration to a live, in-person event, bringing the whole community together in one room for one night.

Chloe Dalton, Founder of TFAP said, “Women’s sport is continuing to transform what we believe is possible. Every athlete, coach, leader and advocate pushing forward is not only changing the game today, but showing the next generation that there is a place for them in sport—at every level and in every role. The momentum we’re seeing is incredibly inspiring, and it deserves to be recognised. TFAP Awards offer a unique opportunity to celebrate the extraordinary achievements, stories and impact of the people driving women’s sport forward.”

The TFAP Awards are more than celebrating achievement of athletes. The TFAP Awards is a strategic play to elevate the achievements, voices and stories of athletes, grassroot administrators, coaches and key people who foster a broader impact on and off the field. These awards are open to all women, including non-binary individuals who identify with and contribute to the women’s sport community inclusive of athletes, coaches, officials, administrators and grassroots leaders. The Outstanding Official category is open to male nominees too, as we recognise the importance of celebrating male allies who contribute to women’s sport.

The TFAP Awards will be judged by:

  • Ellie Cole AM – Paralympian
  • Lauren Jackson AO – former professional basketball player
  • Ann Odong – Communications, Sports Journalist
  • Chloe Dolton – Co- founder TFAP and former professional athlete
  • Erin Morton – Co-founder TFAP

About TFAP

Founded by Olympic Gold Medallist Chloe Dalton, The Female Athlete Project (TFAP) began in 2020 as a simple podcast project, giving top women athletes a platform to share their stories.

What started in the garage has rapidly evolved into Australia’s fastest-growing women’s sports platform, now uniting a passionate community of over 300,000+ fans, athletes, and advocates.

TFAP is more than just a platform, it’s a movement. Through a blend of education, entertainment, and advocacy, we shine a light on both sporting superstars and the unsung heroes, sparking conversations that challenge the status quo.

By amplifying voices, celebrating achievements, and driving change, we’re inspiring the next generation of athletes and fans, while advocating for equity and equality.
