This Saturday, September 20 at 9:30 AM, The Athletic Clubs (The AC), NYC’s fittest social club, will host its largest AC Games to date at Pier 76 in Hudson River Park. More than 200 athletes are scheduled to compete in squad-based events, moving through team stations that include Echo Bikes, box jumps, push presses, and RowErgs. Squads will rip in together, pushing side by side with all-out effort at every station. Spectator tickets are available here.
Now in its third year, the AC Games have become the signature event for New York’s social fitness community. What began with a handful of squads in 2022 has scaled alongside The AC itself, which has grown from 100 members to more than 2,000 across six locations in just four years.
This year’s competition is powered by On, a milestone partnership bringing added visibility, resources, and energy to the Games.
And the momentum does not stop at the pier. With more clubs set to open across New York and plans to bring its social club model of fitness and connection to other major cities, The AC is building more than a gym brand. It is building a movement.
“The Games are raw, loud, and unapologetically New York. They prove that training together builds more than fitness; it builds belonging,” said Victoria Gutowski, Head of Events at The AC. “And this is only the beginning.”
The Athletic Clubs is NYC’s fittest social club, where training squads and social connection go hand in hand. Built on accountability, consistency, and community, The AC combines performance-driven workouts with a calendar of social events, charity partnerships, and shared experiences that extend well beyond the gym. With six locations and more than 2,000 members, and additional clubs on the way, The AC is redefining what it means to belong to a gym. It is not just a place to work out, but a club where you find your squad, push each other, and build lasting connections. Learn more at www.the-athleticclubs.com.
