The Vitamin Shoppe®, a leading specialty retailer of health and wellness products, today announced that its Innovation Store on New York City’s Upper East Side will transform into a complimentary post-marathon recovery hub on Monday, November 2, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Located at 157 East 86th Street between Lexington and Third Avenues, the store will welcome NYC Marathon finishers to celebrate their achievement, recharge, and give their bodies some well-deserved post-race care.
The activation is presented in partnership with Bespoke Physical Therapy, a physical therapy and longevity company taking a proactive, whole-body approach to care. Through an integrated approach to rehabilitation, strength training, recovery, and movement optimization, Bespoke helps people move better, recover smarter, and support long-term health.
Led by Bespoke Physical Therapy Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer Dr. Dan Giordano, a strength and conditioning specialist, the event will feature a dedicated Therabody Recovery Lounge where marathon finishers can unwind and prioritize post-race recovery. The lounge will offer a range of recovery experiences, including vibration chairs, massage guns, red light therapy, and assisted Theragun massage, to help runners recover after 26.2 miles.
In addition to the recovery experiences, runners who present their marathon medal will receive a complimentary nutrition bar of their choice, courtesy of The Vitamin Shoppe.
The collaboration reflects a shared belief that recovery is just as important as preparation and performance. By bringing together Bespoke’s expertise in physical therapy and movement with The Vitamin Shoppe’s commitment to nutrition and wellness, the experience highlights the importance of both movement and nutrition in helping athletes refuel, recover, and care for their bodies after race day.
