Trak Ground Wear today launched its first product: TRAK Compression, a zoned compression sock developed in partnership with Dr. Eric Goodman, the chiropractor and movement specialist who founded Foundation Training. Designed to support the foot’s natural mechanics rather than passively squeeze the leg, TRAK marks the first time Goodman’s twenty-year-old movement methodology has been built into a wearable product.
Most compression socks treat the leg as a single tube to be squeezed for circulation. TRAK takes a different approach. The sock applies targeted compression across distinct zones — calf, ankle hinge, arch, metatarsals — and deliberately leaves the toes free to spread, encouraging active engagement rather than passive support. The result is a sock that helps the wearer walk, run, ride, or train with better mechanics from the ground up.
“Many movement problems start at the ground,” said Dr. Eric Goodman, co-founder of Trak. “When the feet aren’t functioning well, the rest of the body compensates. TRAK is built to bring the biomechanics principles I’ve taught for twenty years into something you can wear every day.”
Goodman’s Foundation Training methodology has been used by athletes and performers including Rickson Gracie, Lakey Peterson, Tye and Kade Ruotolo, Jeff Bridges, and Chris Hemsworth. With the launch of TRAK, those biomechanics principles become accessible to a broader audience without requiring a training program or in-person session.
Trak Ground Wear positions itself in a new category the brand calls “ground wear” — gear designed to support the body’s foundation. TRAK Compression is available at trakgroundwear.com starting May 19, priced at $45.
Trak Ground Wear is a movement gear company founded by Dr. Eric Goodman, creator of Foundation Training. Built on the belief that better movement starts at the ground, the brand develops gear designed to support natural biomechanics rather than restrict them. Combining movement science, performance, and everyday wearability, Trak’s products are engineered to help the body return to its natural movement patterns. Learn more at trakgroundwear.com.
