As of October 1, 2026, the United Endurance Sports Coaching Academy (UESCA) Running Coach Certification course is now available in Spanish.
Since 2019, more than 2,250 endurance coaches have completed the Running Coach Certification, making it UESCA’s most popular certification course. After receiving requests for a Spanish language version of the course, UESCA pursued the translation process of all course and exam material to elevate the learning experience for students in Latin America and other Spanish-speaking communities.
“We worked with the awesome team at Endurance Translations to bring this course to fruition, and we’re excited to offer this to our Spanish-speaking customers,” shares Rick Prince, founder of UESCA.
The Running Coach Certification course is the most comprehensive certification on the market, featuring science- and evidence-based content, curated by top experts in coaching, human physiology, strength training, nutrition, psychology, and injury prevention. Throughout the course and certification exam, coaches obtain the knowledge and confidence to work with runners of all abilities and experience levels.
The newly released Spanish version of the Running Coach Certification contains the same educational material and is offered in the same self-paced format. The course prepares students to take the certification test, which is also delivered in Spanish.
“We know that learning is easier when it’s in someone’s native language. They retain more and gain a better understanding of the concepts,” says Prince. “We believe offering the Spanish version of the Running Coach Certification will help our Spanish-speaking students become even better coaches.”
